Day to day description

Arrival Pre safari

On this day, no activities are scheduled with us, as it is designated for your arrival or pre-safari transit. You will spend the day at your arrival hotel or in transit, depending on your travel arrangements.

Day 1 Spice farm plantations & Cooking class

Begin a day with a spice farm plantation tour in Zanzibar. A spice farm and cooking class in Zanzibar is a popular cultural experience where visitors learn about the island’s famous spice heritage. At the spice farm, you will walk through plantations and see how cloves, cinnamon, cardamom, vanilla, and nutmeg are grown and harvested, while learning about their uses in food and medicine. After the tour, you will take part in a cooking class where you prepare traditional Swahili dishes using fresh local spices and ingredients. The experience often includes tasting tropical fruits and learning local cooking techniques from experienced hosts. Day 2 Stone town

Day 3 Village tour & Sunset dhow cruise

Have a village tour in Zanzibar which offers a chance to experience authentic Swahili culture and daily rural life outside the busy tourist areas. You will walk through traditional villages, meet local families, learn about farming activities, and see how coconut products, spices, and local foods are prepared. The tour often includes visits to small schools, local markets, and craft workshops where handmade items are produced. In the afternoon, you will enjoy a sunset dhow cruise along the coast, sailing on a traditional wooden boat as the sky turns golden over the Indian Ocean. Day 4 Safari Blue

Today, you will have a full-day marine excursion in Zanzibar that takes you out on a traditional dhow boat to explore the Indian Ocean. The trip includes snorkeling in clear coral reefs, swimming in natural lagoons, and relaxing on white sandbanks. You will also get the chance to see mangrove forests and enjoy the calm coastal scenery. Fresh seafood barbecue, tropical fruits, and refreshments are usually served during the tour. It is a fun mix of adventure and relaxation, making it one of the most popular activities in Zanzibar. In the late afternoon, you will drive back to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5 Prison Island & Departure

Visit Prison Island, a small historic island off the coast of Zanzibar known for its giant tortoises, clear waters, and old colonial prison ruins. Here, you can learn about the island’s history, explore the surroundings, and enjoy the beach and snorkeling opportunities nearby. After the visit, you will return to Stone Town for your final preparations. Later, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure, marking the end of your trip.
