Day 1 Stone Town Exploration

Pick-up from your hotel in the heart of Stone Town, ready for a rich cultural immersion. Begin a guided walking tour of Stone Town, exploring its narrow alleys, historic forts, bustling markets, and Swahili architecture. Learn about the island’s fascinating Arab, European, and Swahili history while taking memorable photos. At midday, enjoy a delicious Swahili lunch at a local restaurant. Spend the afternoon visiting artisan shops, discovering local crafts, and sampling tropical fruits. Capture the vibrant energy of Stone Town as the day winds down. Check-in at your hotel for evening relaxation. Dine on authentic cuisine and reflect on your first day of heritage exploration.

Day 2 Village tour

Today, you will have a village tour where you will get the chance to experience local Swahili culture and daily life outside the busy tourist areas of Zanzibar. You will walk through traditional villages, meet local families, learn about farming activities, and discover how coconut products, spices, and local foods are prepared. The tour often includes visits to small schools, local markets, and craft workshops where handmade items are produced. You may also enjoy traditional music, dance performances, and authentic Swahili meals prepared by the community. Village tours provide meaningful cultural interaction while supporting local people and community-based tourism. It is a peaceful and educational experience that helps you better understand the traditions and lifestyle of Zanzibar residents. After the tour, you will drive back to your hotel.

Day 3 Spice farm & cooking class

Start your day with a spice farm plantation tour in Zanzibar. A spice farm and cooking class in Zanzibar is a popular cultural experience where visitors learn about the island’s famous spice heritage. At the spice farm, you will walk through plantations and see how cloves, cinnamon, cardamom, vanilla, and nutmeg are grown and harvested, while learning about their uses in food and medicine. Day 4 Prison Island & Departure

Visit Prison Island, a small historic island off the coast of Zanzibar known for its giant tortoises, clear waters, and old colonial prison ruins. Here, you can learn about the island’s history, explore the surroundings, and enjoy the beach and snorkeling opportunities nearby. After the visit, you will return to Stone Town for your final preparations. Later, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure, marking the end of your trip.
