Day to day description

Arrival Kilimanjaro International Airport to your pre-safari lodge

Today you arrive directly to Kilimanjaro International Airport (time and flight to be confirmed) and will be transferred to your pre-safari lodge in Arusha.

Day 1 Arusha Town - Tarangire National Park

Today, we will pick you up from your hotel and drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. On arrival, enjoy a game drive through the park’s scenic landscapes, including open savannah, acacia woodlands, and the Tarangire River. Watch for elephants among the baobabs, as well as lions, leopards, and many bird species. In the evening, we’ll head to your lodge inside the park, where you’ll enjoy a delicious dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 2 Tarangire National Park - Serengeti National Park

Discover the heart of Serengeti National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site and Tanzania’s oldest park, known for its endless savannah plains. Spanning nearly 15,000 km², the park features diverse landscapes, from rolling hills and rocky outcrops to winding river valleys, creating the perfect safari backdrop. The Central Serengeti, especially the Seronera region, is a wildlife hotspot where predators and prey thrive year-round. This area offers an unforgettable safari experience, combining breathtaking scenery with some of the best wildlife viewing in the world.

Day 3 Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Crater (Ngorongoro Conservation Area)

Today, you will explore the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, surrounded by towering 600m (2,000ft) walls. This natural wonder is home to a dense concentration of wildlife, offering excellent game viewing year-round. In the morning, predators are often easy to spot, and you may even see the rare black rhino along with other members of the Big Five. After an incredible safari experience, you'll head to your lodge for a relaxing evening.

Day 4 Ngorongoro Crater - Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO)

Today, you'll descend into the stunning Ngorongoro Crater, surrounded by towering 600m (2,000ft) walls. This unique ecosystem is home to a rich variety of wildlife, making it one of the best places for year-round game viewing. In the morning, you’ll have a good chance of spotting predators and possibly the rare black rhino, along with other members of the Big Five. In the afternoon, you will drive to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight home.
