Day to day description

Arrival Kilimanjaro International Airport to your pre-safari lodge

Today you arrive directly to Kilimanjaro International Airport (time and flight to be confirmed) and will be transferred to your pre-safari lodge in Arusha.

Day 1 Arusha Town - Tarangire National Park

Today, we'll pick you up from your hotel and head to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its vast elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. Upon arrival, embark on an exciting game drive, exploring the park's diverse landscapes of savannah, acacia woodlands, and the Tarangire River. Keep a lookout for elephants roaming among the baobabs, as well as lions, leopards, and a variety of bird species thriving in this rich ecosystem. Later, we'll drive to your lodge inside Tarangire for a delicious dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2 Tarangire National Park - Serengeti National Park

Explore the heart of Serengeti National Park, a UNESCO Natural World Heritage site and Tanzania’s oldest park, famous for its vast savannah plains. Covering nearly 15,000 km², the park boasts diverse landscapes, including rolling hills, rocky formations, and river valleys, providing an iconic African safari setting. The Central Serengeti, especially the Seronera region, is celebrated for its rich wildlife population, making it easy to spot both predators and prey throughout the year. This region offers the quintessential safari experience, blending stunning scenery with unmatched wildlife viewing opportunities in one of the world's most renowned parks.

Day 3 Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Crater (Ngorongoro Conservation Area)

You venture into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for your game drive today on the caldera floor against a stunning 600m (2000ft) crater wall. The Ngorongoro Crater boasts a high density of wildlife and is excellent for game viewing almost all year round. Predators are typically easily spotted here in the morning, and you may encounter the rare black Rhino as well as many of the big 5. Later, proceed to your overnight accommodation.

Day 4 Ngorongoro Crater - Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO)

Today, you'll explore the captivating Ngorongoro Crater, descending to its floor against a breathtaking 600m (2000ft) crater wall. This crater boasts an impressive array of wildlife, making it an excellent spot for game viewing throughout the year. Predators are often easily spotted in the morning, offering the chance to encounter the elusive black Rhino along with other members of the big 5. Later in the afternoon, you'll journey to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight back home.
