Day to day description

Arrival Pre safari

On this day, no activities are scheduled with us, as it is designated for your arrival or pre-safari transit. You will spend the day at your arrival hotel or in transit, depending on your travel arrangements.

Day 1 Jozani Forest & Mangrove Walk

Begin your adventure with a morning pick-up from your hotel in Stone Town and travel to the lush tropical landscapes of Jozani Chwaka Bay National Park, Zanzibar’s only national park and a biodiversity hotspot. Enjoy a guided forest walk through towering trees and scenic nature trails while spotting the rare Zanzibar Red Colobus Monkey, a unique species found only on the island. Continue your exploration along the peaceful mangrove boardwalks while learning about the park’s delicate coastal ecosystem. At midday, relax and enjoy a delicious lunch at a tranquil forest lodge surrounded by natural beauty. In the afternoon, take part in birdwatching and guided nature photography, capturing colorful tropical birds and stunning forest scenery. The experience offers a perfect blend of wildlife discovery, eco-tourism, and photography opportunities. As the day winds down, transfer to your Hotel for check-in and relaxation. Enjoy the evening and prepare for a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 2 Dolphine Tour (Kizimkazi) & village tour

The day usually starts with a pick up at your hotel and drive to Kizimkazi for dolphin watching boat trip in the calm southern waters of Zanzibar, where you will often spot bottlenose and humpback dolphins. You can also explore the historic Kizimkazi Mosque, one of the oldest Islamic sites in East Africa and taking short village tours to experience local coastal life. In the late afternoon, a sunset dhow cruise begins along the coast, offering peaceful sailing views as the sun drops into the Indian Ocean. The day ends with warm golden skies, making the dhow experience one of the most memorable moments in Kizimkazi. The drive you back at your Hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3 Stone town tour

Today you will visit a Stone Town, where you will do a cultural walk through the historic heart of the island, where narrow winding streets reveal centuries of Swahili, Arab, Indian, and European influence. You will explore landmarks such as the Old Fort, House of Wonders, and the former slave market that reflects Zanzibar’s complex history. The tour includes stops at bustling markets, spice shops, and carved wooden doors that make the town unique. You also pass by mosques, old colonial buildings, and waterfront areas with views of the Indian Ocean. Local guides share stories about trade, culture, and famous figures who shaped the town’s heritage. The experience ends with a deeper understanding of Zanzibar’s identity as a UNESCO World Heritage site.  Later in the afternoon, return to your hotel to prepare for your onward departure with unforgettable memories of Zanzibar.
