Day to day description

Arrival Kilimanjaro International Airport to Arusha

Your family's private vehicle collects you from Kilimanjaro International Airport — everyone, including the children, is welcomed with a personalised name card. The 45-minute drive to your Arusha lodge passes through the landscape that children immediately start scanning for wildlife (there are indeed vervet monkeys and occasionally giraffe visible from the road near certain lodges). A family dinner together with the guide — who introduces himself in a way that immediately engages the children — and a preview of tomorrow's wildlife targets ensures that everyone goes to bed excited.

Day 1 Arusha to Serengeti National Park

Start the day with breakfast in Arusha before embarking on a scenic drive to Serengeti National Park with exciting wildlife sightings along the way. Enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by giraffes and zebras before heading out on an afternoon game drive in Seronera Valley to spot lions, wildebeest, and elephants. Capture the sunset with family photography opportunities and check in at Zumath Tented Camp for a delicious dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2 Serengeti Full-Day Game Drive

After breakfast at the lodge, spend a full day exploring the Serengeti with a game drive following the migration herds. Make educational stops for children and enjoy wildlife photography in the plains filled with zebras and wildebeest. Continue the afternoon drive to spot cheetahs, giraffes, and predators, and finish with sunset observation before returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3 Serengeti – Ngorongoro – Arusha

Begin the day with breakfast at the lodge and depart Serengeti for Ngorongoro Crater, enjoying scenic viewpoints and wildlife spotting along the way. Have a picnic lunch at the crater rim with flamingos and zebras and go on a half-day game drive inside the crater to see elephants, lions, and buffalo. Depart for Arusha, arrive at the hotel, and enjoy dinner to conclude the 3-day family safari.
