Today pick up from the hotel and drive to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. Upon arrival, dive into a thrilling game drive, exploring the park's diverse landscapes of savannah, acacia woodlands, and the life-giving Tarangire River. Keep your eyes peeled for elephants ambling amidst the baobabs, as well as lions, leopards, and a myriad of bird species, all thriving in this rich ecosystem. Full day private game drive in Lake Manyara — forest, floodplain, and lakeshore circuits. The pre-dawn start is deliberate: the Hadzabe hunt in the very early morning before the heat builds and animals retreat to shade. Your luxury safari guide introduces you to your Hadzabe guide at the community meeting point as the sky begins to lighten.

The morning hunt is conducted in silence and covered ground, the Hadzabe moving through the dry thornbush with an efficiency born of ten thousand years of practice. Watching the hunt — whether successful or not — is viscerally humbling. After the hunt, spend time with the community: learning the fire-starting technique using two sticks, hearing the clicking language demonstrated, tasting honey from a wild bees' nest. Next, visit the Datoga people, a semi-nomadic tribe known for their blacksmithing skills. Watch as they make tools, weapons, and jewelry using traditional methods. Today, you will start extra early (04:30 a.m. to 05:30 a.m.) with a pick-up from your lodge by Serengeti Balloon Safaris for a one-hour hot air balloon safari over Serengeti National Park. You will experience a short night game drive en route to the balloon launch site, where you will receive a safety briefing and watch the balloon being inflated. After the flight, enjoy an “Out of Africa” style champagne breakfast in the bush before meeting your safari driver and continuing with a game drive. In the evening, return to your lodge or camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
