This coastal soft walk is special for its unique mangrove ecosystem and the chance to see the rare Zanzibar red colobus monkey. Elevated boardwalks make walking easy and environmentally friendly, while the surrounding coastal forest offers a peaceful and educational experience about island ecology. The terrain is flat and suitable for all ages and fitness levels, including seniors and families with children. Walks typically last 1–2 hours. The best time to visit is June to October for dry weather, though it is accessible year-round except during heavy rains in April and May.
