The Serengeti day trip begins early at 5:00am with a hotel pick-up. The 145km drive from Mwanza to the Ndabaka entry gate takes about 2 to 3 hours. After registration, embark on a game drive, exploring the western corridor zone and observing numerous animals in their natural habitats.
The annual migration of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles through Serengeti National Park contributed to its recognition as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Serengeti is also home to four threatened or endangered species. Visitors often spot cheetahs, black rhinos, wild dogs, and elephants within the reserve, and the Big Five are commonly seen here.
Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park at 1:30 pm, then start a second game drive. The scenery changes throughout the day as different animals hunt, drink, and graze at other times. After the afternoon game drive, begin the return journey to Mwanza at 4:00 pm.
