Early morning departure from Arusha towards Tarangire National Park. The drive passes through the Maasai plains and arrives at the park by 9:00am for a full day of game driving. Tarangire's budget campsites are located near the park's most productive wildlife areas — meaning campers often hear lion calls and hyena activity throughout the night. Game drives cover the Tarangire River corridor, baobab floodplains, and swamp areas, providing outstanding elephant and bird sightings. Later, drive to Karatu for a Dinner & Overnight.

An early camp breakfast precedes the scenic drive to Ngorongoro Crater. After arrival you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for your game drive in the caldera floor against a spectacular 600m (2000ft) crater wall. The Ngorongoro Crater has a great density of wildlife and is superb for game viewing almost all year round. Predators are usually easily spotted here in the morning, and you may encounter the elusive black Rhino as well as many of the big 5. In the late afternoon you will drive to Serengeti National Park for dinner and overnight stay.

A full-day game drive in Serengeti National Park is an unforgettable safari experience, offering endless wildlife encounters across vast open plains. The day usually begins early in the morning with a sunrise drive, when predators like lions and leopards are most active. As you explore different areas of the park, you’ll have chances to see elephants, giraffes, zebras, and large herds of wildebeest. Around midday, you’ll enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated site surrounded by nature. The adventure continues in the afternoon with more game viewing, including possible sightings of cheetahs and hyenas. By late afternoon, you return to your lodge or camp after a rich and rewarding day in the wild.

A travel day from Serengeti National Park to Kilimanjaro International Airport usually starts early in the morning after breakfast at your lodge or camp. Enjoy a short final game drive as you exit the park, depending on your schedule. The journey passes through scenic landscapes and towns with possible stops along the way. Lunch is often taken en route or at a restaurant in Arusha if needed. By late afternoon or evening, you arrive at KIA for your onward flight, marking the end of your safari.
