This walk is special because it immerses visitors in one of Tanzania’s most biodiverse rainforests, home to endemic monkeys, colorful birdlife, and spectacular waterfalls like Sanje Falls. Unlike traditional safari parks, Udzungwa focuses purely on walking, allowing guests to fully connect with nature through sound, scent, and scenery. The trails involve gradual climbs and forest steps, requiring moderate fitness and comfort walking for 2–4 hours. The best time is during the dry seasons (June–October and December–February) when trails are safer and views are clearer.
