4 Days Migration Safari In Ndutu Area

4 Days Migration Safari In Ndutu Area

Safari Overview

Every year, vast herds of wildebeest embark on a long-distance migration that coincides with annual rainfall patterns and grass growth. Following the short rainy season in November, the herds arrive in the short-grass plains of the Serengeti, located east and south of Seronera, around Ndutu, and the northern Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Here, wildebeest and zebras feed on nutrient-rich grasses. The majority of wildebeest calve around February. They typically remain in the area until April before moving west toward the Western Corridor of the Serengeti National Park.
