Day to day description

Arrival Kilimanjaro International Airport - Arusha Town

Today you arrive directly at Kilimanjaro International Airport (time and flight to be confirmed) and will be transferred to your pre-safari lodge in Arusha.

 

Approximate driving time: 1-2 hours to lodge

Day 1 Arusha Town - Tarangire National Park

Today, we'll pick you up from your hotel and head to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and stunning baobab trees. Once there, embark on an exciting safari adventure, exploring the park's diverse grasslands, woodlands, and the Tarangire River landscapes. Look out for elephants wandering among the baobabs, as well as lions, leopards, and a variety of bird species thriving in this vibrant ecosystem. Later, we'll drive to Mto wa Mbu near Lake Manyara for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2 Lake Manyara National Park - Ngorongoro Crater

Embark on an exciting safari adventure in Lake Manyara National Park, a diverse environment surrounding an alkaline lake. This small park showcases a mix of East African landscapes, featuring lush forests, open plains, rugged cliffs, and wooded areas. While you explore, be on the lookout for the park's abundant wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, hippos, and various bird species. The park is famous for its rare tree-climbing lions, which you might be lucky enough to see during your visit. After a full day of game driving, head to Ngorongoro Crater for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3 Ngorongoro Crater - Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO)

Today, you'll explore the Ngorongoro Crater on your game drive, surrounded by the stunning 600-meter (2000-foot) crater rim. Known for its abundant wildlife, the Ngorongoro Crater offers exceptional game viewing opportunities throughout the year. Predators are often sighted in the mornings, and you might even catch a glimpse of the elusive black rhino, along with other members of the Big 5. Later in the afternoon, journey to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your return flight home or back to Arusha town.
