Day to day description

Arrival Kilimanjaro International Airport - Arusha Town

Today you arrive directly at Kilimanjaro International Airport (time and flight to be confirmed) and will be transferred to your pre-safari lodge in Arusha.

 

Approximate driving time: 1-2 hours to lodge
Accommodation: Gran Melia Arusha

Day 1 Arusha Town - Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, we will pick you up from your hotel and drive to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its vast elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. Upon arrival, embark on an exciting game drive through the park’s diverse landscapes, including open grasslands, woodlands, and the Tarangire River. Keep an eye out for elephants, lions, leopards, and a variety of bird species that thrive in this rich ecosystem.

In the late afternoon, we will continue to Mto wa Mbu, near Lake Manyara, where you'll enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2 Lake Manyara National Park - Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, set off on a game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, a beautiful area surrounding a large alkaline lake. The park features a mix of landscapes, including lush forests, open grasslands, rocky cliffs, and wooded areas. As you explore, watch for elephants, giraffes, hippos, and many bird species. Keep an eye out for the park’s famous tree-climbing lions, a rare sight in the wild.

In the afternoon, we will drive to Ngorongoro Crater, where you’ll enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3 Ngorongoro Crater - Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO)

After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most breathtaking wildlife destinations. Surrounded by towering 600-meter (2,000-foot) crater walls, this natural wonder is home to a dense concentration of wildlife, offering excellent game viewing year-round. In the morning, you may spot predators on the hunt, and with some luck, you might even see the elusive black rhino, along with other members of the Big Five.

After an unforgettable safari experience, we will drive you to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your return flight or back to Arusha town.
