Day to day description

Arrival Kilimanjaro International Airport - Arusha Town

Today you arrive directly to Kilimanjaro International Airport (time and flight to be confirmed) and will be transferred to your pre-safari lodge in Arusha or Moshi

Day 1 Arusha - Lake Manyara National Park - Lake Eyasi

You’ll be picked up from your lodge in Arusha and begin your exciting journey to Lake Manyara National Park, a beautiful area surrounding a salty lake. This compact park offers a mix of forests, plains, cliffs, and woodlands, giving you a taste of East Africa's diverse landscapes. Keep an eye out for elephants, giraffes, hippos, and a variety of bird species. The park is also known for the rare sight of tree-climbing lions. After your game drive, you’ll continue to Lake Eyasi for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2 Lake Eyasi - Ngorongoro Conservation Area (Crater)

Start your day early with a cultural tour to Lake Eyasi, where you'll explore the unique lifestyles of the Hadzabe and Datoga tribes. With the Hadzabe, one of East Africa’s last hunter-gatherer tribes, you'll learn about their traditional hunting techniques and their deep connection to nature. Then, immerse yourself in the Datoga tribe's semi-nomadic culture, watching their skilled blacksmiths craft arrows and tools. Enjoy activities like traditional dances, archery, and learning about hunting methods. Set against the wild beauty of Lake Eyasi, this tour offers a powerful glimpse into how these tribes live sustainably and in harmony with nature. Afterward, drive to the Ngorongoro Crater for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3 Ngorongoro Crater - Kilimanjaro International Airport

Today, you'll head into the Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable safari adventure on the crater floor, surrounded by a stunning 600-meter (2000-foot) high crater wall. This area is famous for its diverse wildlife, offering excellent opportunities to spot animals year-round. In the morning, predators are commonly seen, and you might even spot the rare black rhinoceros, along with other members of the Big Five. In the afternoon, you'll drive to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight back home.
